The Villa Siri Wedamadura

Siri Wedamadura Villa has four bedrooms designed with minimal décor. Instead, each room encapsulates the beauty of its surroundings. The reflective shades and tones facilitate the whites and neutrals shades to create a soft meditative feel.

One bedroom features a double bed whilst the other bedrooms are furnished with single beds. Each bed has its own mosquito net for a comfortable, undisturbed sleep. Likewise, the antique armoires easily accommodate your belongings. The windows offer views of paradise in the tropical gardens. Likewise, accompanying the bedrooms are en-suite bathrooms with polished walls, large windows, a shower area and other amenities.

Through traditional doors, one can head to the living room at the villa which boasts high soaring ceilings, a sunroof through which streams in abundant natural light, and vintage interiors. Furthermore, there is vinyl lattice furniture which will take you back in time, floor lamps, and artwork adorning the walls.

Finally, the weathered and washed-off look on the ceiling completes this antique and unique room. You will find bookshelves for you to enjoy bestselling titles, games like carrom which is a South Asian board game and other relaxing activities to engage in.

The Garden and Pool

The swimming pool is surrounded by thriving tropical flora. Consequently, as far as you can see thickets of palm trees high up in the sky cast their shade on the lawn. The gorgeous tropical climate heightens the beautiful landscape.

Sun chairs and rattan beds provide outside relaxation or even enjoy the view gloriously stretching in front of you. A stone pavilion with a shingled roof is behind the deck. Further, there is comfortable seating and a table ensure this is ideal for morning tea, breakfast or light evening snacks.

A built-in natural stone dining table provides a memorable alfresco meal with loved ones. The in-house chef cooks local and international cuisines.  You can easily request delectable meals at an additional cost. Finally, a fresh seafood BBQ will satisfy your seafood cravings.

The villa staff are happy to help with any requests. Whether it is transportation using tuk-tuks to take you shopping to enjoy the village. Or, shopping for ingredients for a meal you or the chef are cooking is an excellent way to learn about Sri Lankan food and ingredients.
