On arriving at Saldana Beach Villa you are welcomed by an entrance festooned with heliconias, bougainvillea and miniature palms.  Once you climb a few steps, you walk into a light-filled room adorned with Kandyan artwork. The entry is cleverly compartmentalised into four corners. Each corner hosts a dedicated seating, eating, working and drinking area.

Many doors lead from this room. Each provides different access to the sensational sea view beach, pool and garden. As well as this it allows the Sri Lankan light to stream in.

The elevated timber deck at the front of the Saldana beach villa provides excellent ocean views. Further, it has ample space to admire the sunlit scene, bordered by a grassy lawn. Your own private gate, just a few steps away allows you to easily access the beach.

The swimming pool has navy blue and turquoise tiles. The reflected light dances across nearby surfaces. You’ll find it just to the right from where it commands fantastic frangipani filled view of the sea and sand beyond. Whether you enjoy a morning beach jog or swim or make use of the lawn for yoga; the setting is superb.

The Villa Rooms and Features

Saldana Beach Villa has three bedrooms with en-suite indoor/outdoor bathrooms. The two sea-facing master suites offer king-size four-poster beds. In contrast, the third bedroom features two matching single four-poster beds, ideal for singles or children. You can relax in your room enjoying the cooling of airconditioning, or beneath ceiling fans. The master suite on the left has its own garden terrace with sunbeds and a phenomenal view of the ocean. However, the terrace of the master suite on the right has sunbeds that reach the pool and look out to sea.

Saldana beach villa provides a housekeeper and an experienced chef. A wide range of Eastern and Western dishes are available at the hand of your chef. However, he excels when cooking traditional Sri Lankan fare. The kitchen is also available for guests to cook for themselves.

There are two kitchens. Everything you may need is in the modern kitchen featuring glass and steel cabinets and granite countertops.  On the other hand, the second kitchen is an authentic curry kitchen. Consequently, the chef can cook up traditional Sri Lankan style dishes away from the hub of the house.

Guests can order fresh fish and seafood straight from the local market or even better from the fishermen who come to the villa to sell their ‘catch of the morning’.

Saldana beach villa is situated near to many of the great villas & local restaurants along the coast from Ahangama to Galle as well as popular surf breaks and other fantastic trips and excursions.
